Your chance to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Gallup!
Collect pledges to maximize the benefits--all proceeds will help build homes with low income families right here in Gallup. Ride on June 5 on one of the three routes described below. Getting pledges is easy! Ask your friends, coworkers, family members, and anyone else who might be willing to help support affordable housing here in Gallup, NM. Pledges can be as little as $5 or as much as $5,000. You'll be surprised at how even the small ones add up. All gifts are tax deductible. Click here for instructions on collecting pledges.
2010 Routes
- RED ROCK LOOP (Short loop--20 miles): Start at Bethany Church. South on 2nd St to Nizhoni bypass to 66 to Red Rock Chapter road to Hwy 32 back to Bethany.
- ST MICHAEL'S - LUPTON LOOP (Long Loop--80 miles): Start at Bethany Church. South on 2nd St to Nizhoni bypass to 66 to Mentmore Crossing. North on Hwy 1 to 264. East thru Window Rock to St. Michael's. South on Hwy 12 to Lupton. East on Old 66 back to Gallup. Back to Bethany Church on Nizhoni bypass.
- CENTURY LOOP - this route combines the first two routes into one large loop of 100 miles.

Habitrek Information
Entry fee is $75 (or more) per rider. This can be paid by the rider or raised through pledges. All riders bringing in $150 or more in pledges will receive a t-shirt.
All rides will be supported with food and drink stops as well as basic repair supplies such as tubes, tires, air, etc. Please note: roads will not be closed for this event. You will be responsible for following normal rules of the road and are responsible for your own safety. Waivers will be distributed for signing at the pre-ride breakfast.
All registered participants are invited to a free pancake breakfast at Bethany Church, 1110 S. Strong Dr, at 8:00 am. Rides leave from the church at 9:00 am.
Post-Ride Dinner: At 7:00pm, after everyone has had a chance to finish their ride, we will regroup at the Coal Street Pub to celebrate. Tickets for 1/2 off dinners will be distributed at the pre-ride breakfast.
